WI/MN Sales and Use Tax Basics
- The Wisconsin and Minnesota Departments of Revenue will present a series of joint sales and use tax seminars. The seminars will include information on differences between the two states' laws. You are invited to attend any of the following seminars, free of charge.
Registration
Although all these classes are free, you must register in advance. You will get a confirmation letter including a map and directions to the training site. We may cancel a class if there aren't enough registered participants; if that happens, we'll notify you five days before the class.
You may register in any of the following ways:
- Register online for the "Minnesota/Wisconsin Border Issues Course".
- Contact the Minnesota Department of Revenue by email at mdor.mbe@state.mn.us
- Call 651-297-4213 (TTY users, call 711 for Minnesota Relay).
Note: When registering by email or phone, you must include your mailing address, phone number and the name, date, and location of the class you wish to attend.
