Payment Voucher Issues
The department has received a large volume of vouchers with missing, incomplete or incorrect OCR scan lines. There may be a delay or error in posting the payment to the correct taxpayer account when a voucher has a bad OCR scan line. When remitting a payment on a software provided payment voucher, be sure that the OCR scan line is populated with the correct characters using the correct font. If the software is not able to produce a correct voucher, you may use the department's fill in voucher form at: revenue.wi.gov/forms/2012/taxind12.html.
