Subject: TID SOA - Not Required for 2014
TO: Municipal Clerks, Certified Assessors, TID User Group
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) would like to remind you that filing the Tax Incremental District Statement of Assessment (TID SOA) is no longer required.
To determine TID values, DOR will only use the Assessor's Tax Incremental District Assessment Report (TAR).
These deadlines apply when you use the PAD system to submit individual sale information and when you send an electronic file to DOR.
- The TAR is due the second Monday of June – June 9 for 2014
- If you do not file by June 9, DOR will certify the prior year's non-manufacturing full value for the current year, which may result in less tax increment dollars available to the municipality
Note: It is important that assessors and clerks (or finance directors) meet to review TID values before submitting them to DOR on the TAR.
If you have questions, contact the Equalization Bureau District Office in your area.
