The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) provides communication via email to members who sign up to receive filing deadlines or other information as noted below. You will only receive news specific to the respective list you sign up for.

Administrative Rules – will provide notice of public hearings and comment periods for proposed rules and the associated Economic Impact Analysis.

Assessors – of particular value to Town, Village & City Assessors. Emails will provide assessor news and information such as form submittal reminders, new legislation, current reports, internet forms, local training and internet publications.

District Changes – will provide notification of updates to taxation district and taxing jurisdiction areas.

Excise Tax e-File Developer – will provide communication of interest to developers of Excise Tax e-File applications

Libraries – will provide communication of interest to libraries.

Manufacturers – will provide communication of interest to manufacturers.

MeF Business e-File Developer – will provide communication of interest to developers of MeF Business tax e-File applications.

MeF Individual e-File Developer – will provide communication of interest to developers of MeF Individual income tax e-File applications.

Motor Fuels e-File Developer – will provide communication of interest to developers of Motor Fuel Tax e-File applications.

Municipal Clerks - will provide communication of interest to town, village and city clerks.

Municipal Treasurers - will provide communication of interest to town, village and city treasurers.

Sales & Use Tax – will provide you with current sales & use tax news and reminders.

Sales & Use Tax e-File Developer – will provide communication of interest to developers of sales and use tax e-File applications.

Special Districts – will provide communication of interest to metropolitan sewerage, sanitary, and public inland lake protection and rehabilitation districts.

Tax Professional – will provide tax news and information, including the Wisconsin Tax Bulletin, other publications, electronic filing mailings, and announcements of approved software and Electronic Return Originators.

Telecommunications – of interest to State assessed companies in Wisconsin. Emails will provide updates and communications regarding forms, filing and payment deadlines.

TID/TIF – of particular value to Town, Village & City Clerks, assessors, planning departments, mayors & presidents, and consultants. Emails will be providing periodic Tax Increment Financing District (TID) information such as new legislation, current reports, internet forms, local training and internet publications.

TRIP & SDC Newsletter – Quarterly newsletter that provides program updates for Tax Refund Interception & State Debt Collection.

Unclaimed Property Auctions – will provide communication about upcoming auction dates.

Utility Tax – of interest to Ad Valorem and Gross Receipt companies doing business in Wisconsin. Emails will provide updates and communications for Air Carrier, Railroad, Pipeline, Conservation/Regulation, Association of Municipal Electrics, Carlines, Light Heat & Power Companies, and Rural Electric Cooperatives.

Volunteer Information for Wisconsin VITA and TCE Programs – Provides communication to VITA and TCE program volunteers, staff and management. The Wisconsin Department of Revenue will send messages about Wisconsin tax laws and policies, tax season updates and strategies for tax preparation.

Wisconsin Economic Outlook – provides quarterly and annual forecasts of income and employment for Wisconsin and the United States. This report focuses on industry employment, housing trends and income components.

Withholding Tax – will provide you with current Withholding tax news.

Withholding Tax e-File Developer – will provide communication of interest to developers of withholding tax e-File applications.
